Health Surveillance (HAVS)

Course overview

For all companies employing operatives using hand held tools, Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) and Carpel Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is a growing problem and often overlooked. Health Surveillance Assessments are a very important part of work place health and safety.

Claims for HAVS and CTS are on the increase and it is your duty as an employer to try and reduce vibration exposure amongst your workforce and comply with the Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005.

We will carry out a minute by minute trigger time study on individual employees who may be susceptible to HAVS / CTS from frequent use of hand held power tools during their daily work routine.

Our reports are carried out in accordance with The Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005.
