Course overview

Accidents are a thing that we want to avoid at all costs. Every year people are killed or injured at work.

Over 40 million working days are lost annually through work-related accidents and illnesses.

The old excuse that “It wasn’t my fault” is a commonly used phrase as no one really wants to admit liability and many turn a blind eye. Therefore it is vitally important to investigate accidents thoroughly to get a clear picture of what led up to it, what actually happened and who witnessed the incident.

Witnesses can become traumatised and quickly forget or lie to avoid blame. Firstline Safety Training can provide Accident Investigation and Expert Witness Services to the Health & Safety Executive in the event of an accident occurring.

Our investigator is fully trained in IOSH – Accident, Loss Investigation and Evidence Gathering.
