COSHH Assessments

Course overview

According to HSE regulations and guidance coshh assessments along with risk assessments should also be reviewed on a regular/ongoing basis (generally every 6 months) to monitor any changes to the way work is carried out including the substances and materials used that could pose a danger to the user.

Coshh assessments are a very important source of information especially where accidents occur. The emergency services don’t know everything about the substances that maybe in use in your particular work place and they provide vital information to enable safe and efficient treatment in the event of an accident protecting the EMS and the patient.

Site Visit
We will review and update all your current Coshh data sheets and assessments at your premises / site. We will source any missing data and update your files.

Durations
Generally 1 working day (dependant on quantities and research involved). The observation audit will generally take 1 – 2 working days. The duration regarding the alteration or updating of Risk Assessments is dependent on the quantities involved and how complicated and specific your work practices are. We will be able to quote when we know how much work we’ll have to carry out to get you up to date.

Delivery
Can be carried out at your premises and on site to suit your needs. We generally work on a nationwide basis and we’re also happy to work abroad.
