Steps & Ladder Awareness Training Course
Course Overview
This ½ day training session is offered by Firstline Safety Training Limited Health & Safety Instructors, on the safe use of steps and ladders and is aimed at your company employees who, as part of their work, are at risk of a fall during their work activities.
Training Method
This is a classroom based course with power point presentations.
Course Requirements
No special requirements.
Location
Classroom based at client or trainer premises with adequate room for all candidates. 240v power required for projector allowing power point presentations and training DVD’s. Large screen TV’s with HTMI connections are also acceptable.
Duration
3 hours.
Clients Receive
Individual Certificates of Competency.

Assessment of Competency
Throughout the training course practical assessments will be made followed by the multiple choice assessment paper.
Successful candidates gaining 80 percent or over will be awarded a Safe Use of Ladders & Stepladders Certificate valid for 36 months.
The assessment can take place orally for those who have difficulties with reading or writing.
