Risk Assessments (General and Specific)

Course overview

Risk Assessments – According to HSE regulations and guidance should be reviewed on a regular/ongoing basis (generally every 6 months) to monitor any changes to the way work is carried out. Your company may be using old out of date documentation which no longer complies with your current methods of work.

As your tools, machinery and working methods change then your risk assessments also need to change. We can provide up dated, detailed assessments for all your company work activities, specifically tailored to meet your needs regarding work methods, practices, tools, plant, equipment and machinery etc.

Site Visit
First of all we will visit your work premises / site and carry out an audit by observing all your work methods and practices to ensure they comply with the appropriate HSE guidelines and Approved Codes of Practice (ACOPS).

Durations
The observation audit will generally take 1 – 2 working days. The duration regarding the alteration or updating of Risk Assessments is dependent on the quantities involved and how complicated and specific your work practices are. We will be able to quote when we know how much work we’ll have to carry out to get you up to date.

Complies with
The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 (HASAWA), Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) etc or to whichever regulation applies to your specific line of work.

Delivery
Our audits can be carried out at your premises and on site to suit your company needs. We generally work on a nationwide basis and we’re also happy to work abroad.
